Daniel has made this possible by utilising his Doctor of Physiotherapy qualification with personal experience playing college (USA) level baseball and American football, ABL baseball for the Sydney Blue Sox, first-grade baseball in SA and NSW, and division I amateur league AFL.
Daniel has created a specialised approach to Physiotherapy treatment, return to sport and injury prevention by incorporating a functional strength & conditioning approach, no matter the individual’s age, sport, lifestyle, or competition level.

As Director and Principal Physiotherapist of Any Stage Physiotherapy (ASP) and Sports Medicine, Daniel founded and built ASP around the principle idea of providing evidence-based treatment and injury prevention, specific to the demands of the individual’s sport, or daily routine.

Daniel started his extensive studies in the USA, where he attended The University of Indianapolis (Indiana) and Redlands Community College (Oklahoma), between 2011-2015, while on a baseball scholarship. Understanding the opportunity presented to him, Daniel made the most of his time in America, completing his Bachelor of Exercise Science degree and Associate Degree in Applied Science.
While playing baseball at both these colleges, Daniel was awarded Academic All-Conference honours. During Daniel’s senior year (2015), he played on the University of Indianapolis football team as the punter, where the team were conference champions.
Daniel has also played representative baseball for Australia, the Sydney Blue Sox and South Australia while also playing Division I amateur league AFL in South Australia.
On his return to Australia, Daniel gained his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Macquarie University, including 1200+ hours of clinical placement and completing his thesis related to concussion in AFL. During his time at Macquarie University, Daniel gained knowledge and experience across various settings, including spinal cord rehab, stroke rehab, private practice, orthopaedics, paediatrics, and the corporate setting.
Daniel’s most treasured experience at Macquarie University came in 2019 when he was among four post-graduate students selected to travel to Hyderabad, India, to complete an international rotation in acute stroke rehabilitation and orthopaedics. Developing a deep understanding of culture and working with an international team of surgeons, nurses and allied health staff, Daniel returned with the motivation of opening ASP and providing the community with a functional and motivating approach to Physiotherapy.

Shannon Murray
DPT, B. HSc (PH), APAM
Doctor of Physiotherapy
Shannon completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University, after relocating from Queensland, where she completed her Bachelor of Health Science degree. Whilst completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, she gained valuable experience in various setting, including private practice and hospital.
Shannon is an energetic and caring Physiotherapist, passionate about helping people reach their goals and return to activities they enjoy through injury management and rehabilitation. Having experienced previous chronic low back pain herself, she has a firsthand understanding of the importance of effective and appropriate physiotherapy management, to be able to participate in all that life has to offer.
These experiences involved time spent in orthopaedics, stroke rehabilitation, chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions, sports training and manual handling injury prevention programs in corporate settings. Since graduation, Shannon enjoyed working as a member of the Macquarie University faculty as well as providing sports coverage for Cranbrook High School for many sports including rugby union, soccer, AFL and cross country.
When not at work, Shannon enjoys having a laugh and coffee with family and friends, and getting into some exercise with running, Pilates and the gym.
Isaac Trow
B. Physiotherapy (Hons)
Isaac graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2022 and has since developed extensive experience working with a wide range of patients across different ages and sporting backgrounds. His clinical expertise spans acute injuries, chronic pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation, with a strong focus on helping individuals return to optimal performance.
A passionate athlete himself, playing representative cricket and soccer, Isaac has a particular interest in cricket-related injuries and understands firsthand the physical and mental demands placed on athletes. He is skilled in guiding players through every stage of recovery – from early injury management to end-stage rehabilitation and return-to-competition strategies.
Isaac’s experience includes working with elite sporting organisations such as the GWS Giants AFL Academy and the Knox Rugby Union Club. In these high-performance environments, he has developed a keen ability to tailor rehabilitation programs that prioritise both recovery and long-term performance outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Isaac enjoys staying active through social sport and charity running events. He is also a keen sports fan who rarely misses a live game and enjoys exploring Sydney’s food scene in search of the city’s best restaurants.
Elisha Ball
DPT, B. Sc (Neuro) / B.A (IntPol), APAM
Doctor of Physiotherapy / Pilates Instructor
Elisha is our wonderful Clinical Pilates instructor at Any Stage Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine. Elisha is a friendly and motivating physiotherapist who has a special interest in neurological conditions from birth to older adults.
Elisha graduated from Macquarie University with a degree in Doctor of Physiotherapy and is currently completing her Masters of Research, where she has designed an exciting and new multidisciplinary program to improve mobility after stroke. Elisha is a trained clinical pilates instructor and Physiotherapist and a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). Elisha has also completed her Bachelor of Science/Arts (Neuroscience/International Politics) from the University of Sydney.
Elisha currently works in private community rehabilitation and enjoys using her pilates training to build functional strength and coordination into her clients’ daily routines. Elisha is passionate about helping her clients reach their potential, whether in work, school, family or recreation. She enjoys having a good laugh. You can find Elisha on the beach reading a good book when she is not at work!
